About the Role
ARCO/Murray is looking for highly motivated Project Manager Interns who are passionate about the construction process to join the team for the Summer of 2027. Every associate is empowered to drive their success and will be responsible for project performance and profit from day one.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with estimating, including describing project proposals and assigning dollar values.
- Assist Project Managers with scheduling, creating timelines for subcontractors.
- Attend design meetings with owners and teams to understand design and structural engineering.
- Assist with buyout, including sending bid instructions and evaluating proposals.
- Review subcontractor shop drawings and submittals with the Project Manager and design team.
- Assist Project Managers with billing, managing subcontracts, change orders, and pay applications.
- Understand project cost status.
- Visit job sites with Project Managers and work with Project Superintendents to ensure projects run smoothly.
- Participate in weekly training sessions covering role understanding, business operations, and building trades.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study
- Prior industry internship experience is a plus
- Extracurricular involvement is a plus

- Stipend provided for interns living outside of market
- A $5,000 bonus should you join ARCO/Murray fulltime after graduation
