About the Role

The Guest Services Representative exemplifies standards of hospitality and service to internal and external customers, creating a helpful, positive first impression of the organization. This role involves greeting and directing visitors, providing information and guidance, and performing clerical duties.

Responsibilities

• Greets all guests entering the lobby with a sincere greeting, exhibiting proper guest relations skills and a positive approachable attitude.
• Provides accurate and timely information and directions.
• Proactively assists guests with obtaining a wheelchair, provides general assistance, or accompanies them to their destination.
• Takes the initiative to maintain a safe and attractive environment within the facility and immediate property.
• Provides information/support to families of surgery patients.
• Notifies Security of any suspicious person or behavior, accident, or circumstances that may cause damage or injury.
• Ensures department logs are up to date and accurate.
• Establishes and maintains efficient working relationships with supervisor, coworkers, and customers.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working in an environment where interruptions cannot be controlled.
• Maintains and models Nuvance Health Values.
• Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

• Minimum six months of customer service experience.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
