About the Role
Join the CCSAI Governance Committee to shape the governance of your student association. Learn how organizations are structured, gain experience with bylaws development and strategic oversight, and participate in governance training.
Responsibilities
- Review and recommend changes to CCSAI’s bylaws and governance policies
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of CCSAI’s governance framework
- Ensure compliance with legal and best-practice standards (including ONCA)
- Support Board member orientation and governance training initiatives
- Participate in monthly meetings and engage in key decisions
Requirements
- Any full-time Centennial College student with at least two semesters remaining in their program
- Members cannot hold dual roles at CCSAI; if you hold a role as a committee member, you cannot hold another role within CCSAI at the same time.
