About the Role
Join the CCSAI Finance Committee and help shape the financial future of your student association. The Finance Committee ensures financial accountability, transparency, and sustainability across all CCSAI operations, offering real-world governance and financial oversight experience.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess monthly financial statements
- Advise on budgets, reserves, and special expenditures
- Recommend key appointments (e.g., auditor, investment advisor, banking services)
- Contribute to CCSAI’s investment strategy and risk management practices
- Ensure financial decisions support long-term sustainability
- Review and recommend updates to financial policies
- Participate in quarterly financial reporting and the Annual General Meeting (AGM)
Requirements
- Enrolled in business, finance, accounting, or related programs
- Demonstrated financial management experience (e.g., budgeting, bookkeeping, investing, or treasurer roles in clubs, organizations, or businesses)
- Members cannot hold dual roles at CCSAI
