About the Role
Join the CCSAI Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility Committee (EDIAC) to help make Centennial College a more inclusive, equitable, and accessible community. This committee ensures EDI are central to CCSAI initiatives, policies, and services, offering a chance to use your voice and leadership to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Advise CCSAI on policies and initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and accessibility
- Review CCSAI services to ensure they reflect and support diverse student needs
- Help identify and dismantle systemic barriers faced by equity-deserving students
- Collaborate with Centennial College stakeholders on EDI initiatives
- Support events and campaigns that foster cultural competency and anti-oppression
Requirements
- We are recruiting 7 Students-at-Large to join this committee.
- No prior governance experience is required, just a passion for equity, inclusion, and making a positive impact.
- Training and mentorship will be provided.
- Members cannot hold dual roles at CCSAI; if you hold a role as a committee member, you cannot hold another role within CCSAI at the same time.
