About the Role

APB Security is seeking friendly, energetic, organized, dependable, and self-motivated individuals with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to join our team in New York City and the Brooklyn area. Candidates must be well-mannered, timely, responsible, and presentable with neat attire and appearance. The role requires the ability to maintain a strong physical presence, handle physical workloads with attention to detail, and de-escalate confrontations.

Responsibilities

Maintain a strong physical presence in potentially confrontational situations.
Perform crowd control and de-escalation of incidents.
Work in various locations including Night Clubs, Lounges, Bars, Restaurants, and Mobile Patrols.
Handle physical workload while maintaining strong attention to detail.
Speak with customers and be presentable.

Requirements

Must be licensed by New York State as a Security Guard.
Must possess Fireguard Certification.
Ability to interview in English or Spanish.
Black suits with Black & White collared shirts are a high priority.
Must have Fire Guard F04 or be willing to acquire within 7 days (Nightlife Guard Only).
Must be able and willing to de-escalate confrontations or incidents.
Experience working in the role is highly preferred.
