About the Role
Coordinate Global Programs to execute the OCS Division strategy, driving engineering solutions, proactive quality, and standard processes throughout the Value Stream and Product Life Cycle specific to customer needs. Focus will be on highly strategic customers, ensuring their program delivery to protect customer trust and future revenue. This role involves developing and executing systems and processes based on manufacturing and engineering capabilities to promote prevention and risk reduction, requiring project and workstream leadership throughout the Fulfillment Stream for long-term improvements.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate Product Engineering group for specific product lines through supervisor and ensure strategic intentions are met
- Clarify, understand, and document customer requirements, product specifications, industry requirements, and product applications
- Drive technically rigorous root cause analysis for product integrity issues
- Quickly and effectively respond to customer and commercial requests for rapid product changes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Controls engineering, or Materials Science
- 7+ years of experience in progressively responsible roles in technology, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or quality, with demonstrated experience in Project management of significant scope in complexity, investment, and impact
- Certified DMAIC Green Belt
- 4+ years of experience in Lean methodologies (Value Stream Mapping, Process Mapping, Kaizen Events, and Error-proofing)
- 4+ years of experience in PQA methodologies
- 4+ years of experience in New Product Introductions including Change Management
- Certified DMAIC Black Belt
- Experience as Product/Project Champion managing cross-functional teams (e.g. Technology, Manufacturing, Division Engineering, PLM, Customer Experience, Freight Forwarder, etc.)
- Experience with Transactional (e.g. DESGN, MEE) Problem Solving
- Knowledge of ERP/QMS platforms (SAP, ETQ, SharePoint, Windchill)
- Experience with coordinating globally distributed cross-cultural teams
