About the Role
The Associate Clinical Lead will serve as a trusted mentor, coach, and clinical resource for Associate Dentists throughout the Anytime Dental Group network. Reporting to and working closely with the Clinical Director, you’ll play an important role in supporting the clinical development and success of our Associate Dentists. You’ll help strengthen clinical standards, identify development opportunities, and ensure our doctors have the mentorship, education, and support they need to continue growing in their careers. Working collaboratively with doctors, clinic leaders, Operations, and Learning & Development teams, you’ll provide hands-on coaching and guidance that supports strong clinical decision-making, comprehensive treatment planning, exceptional patient care, and continued professional development. You’ll build meaningful relationships with our Associate Dentists, understand where they want to grow, and help create the support, education, and accountability needed to get them there. The role will also contribute to clinical quality initiatives, including treatment plan reviews, chart audits, clinical education, and the continued development of consistent clinical standards across our organization. This is a field-based role requiring regular travel throughout Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Associate Dentists to support their clinical development, confidence, and long-term success.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with Associates and serve as an approachable clinical resource.

- Support clinicians in developing confidence when presenting treatment and communicating the value and rationale behind their recommendations.
- Conduct clinical chart audits and provide constructive, actionable feedback related to documentation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and quality of care.
- Provide individualized coaching and development plans based on each Associate’s experience, goals, strengths, and opportunities for growth.
- Mentor and support new Associate Dentists as they transition into their clinics and become familiar with the Anytime Dental Group philosophy of care.
- Develop and facilitate clinical education, case discussions, training sessions, and resources based on the needs of our Associate Dentist community.
- Identify common clinical development opportunities across the organization and collaborate with Clinical Leadership and Learning & Development on programs to address them.
- Partner with clinic and Operations leaders when additional clinical coaching or support would benefit an Associate or clinic.
- Contribute to the continued development of clinical standards, quality assurance programs, and best practices across the organization.
- Foster a culture where clinicians feel comfortable asking questions, discussing cases, learning from one another, and continually improving their craft.
- Champion a supportive, collaborative, and patient-first approach to clinical excellence.

- Comfortable having constructive conversations and providing candid feedback with empathy, professionalism, and respect.
