About the Role
Elm Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician / Painter to join their Collision Center team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, understands the importance of quality, and can manage body repair and refinishing from start to finish. This role is for a locally established dealership that respects skilled technicians and values quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision and body repairs to manufacturer and industry standards
- Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing
- Mix, match, and apply automotive paint
- Perform sanding, masking, priming, blending, and finishing
- Repair or replace damaged body panels and components
- Inspect completed work for proper fit, finish, and color match
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work with the Collision Center team to keep repairs moving efficiently
Requirements
- Professional auto body and/or automotive painting experience required
- Strong knowledge of collision repair and refinishing techniques
- Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes and color matches
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, professional, and ready to work
- Experienced applicants only; not an entry-level position
