About the Role
The Onboarding Partner position will represent the company while performing a variety of HR tasks including Recruiting, Onboarding, and maintaining accurate data in the HRIS systems. Critical to this position is a motivated, detail-oriented, self-driven team player. The ability to multitask and change priorities is crucial as the Human Resources department is a fast-paced environment with many initiatives taking place simultaneously. Human Resources is a service organization, and as such, representatives must have patience and flexibility to address personnel issues as they arise and treat all employees in a warm, friendly, and accommodating manner. The candidate must also be comfortable presenting to a small/medium sized group of employees.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of recruiting, including reviewing applications, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews for operational staff.
- Assist with creating agendas, arranging travel, and coordinating interview logistics.
- Ensure all required paperwork is collected and communicate with applicants throughout the recruiting process.
- Initiate background checks and medical testing for new hires.
- Enter new hire data into the HRIS system.
- Create first day/week agendas and address new hire questions.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
- Support hiring managers and follow up with new hires post-start.
- Administer and conduct company orientations covering culture, documentation, and handbook policies.
- Maintain internal electronic and physical bulletin boards with relevant HR information.
- Take ownership of FLSA classification and compliance.
- Lead and promote diversity recruitment efforts.
- Respond to and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of critical information and data.
- Prepare employee offer letters, conduct exit interviews, and manage other communications.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team with employees at all levels.
- Works under moderate supervision and oversight.
Skills
- Knowledge of Federal and multi-state HR laws and DOL procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: relationship building, enthusiasm, and ability to lean into challenging situations
- Diplomatic and proactive in keeping recruiting and onboarding efforts moving forward
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong computer skills, including ADP Workforce, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex administrative processes
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments
