About the Role

This position assists in determining proper corrective action for damaged or worn equipment, dispatching mechanics for repairs and inspections, monitoring repair status, and conducting facility inspections to identify operational improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with overseeing the protection of physical assets, facility and equipment maintenance, and facility housekeeping.
  • Assists with identifying and scheduling necessary repairs and preventative maintenance using BaSE mechanics and outside vendors to maintain the facility's condition.
  • Communicates assigned work status to colleagues to determine potential impact on the department's schedule.
  • Assists with maintaining environmental compliance in accordance with UPS environmental programs.
  • Delivers required regulatory training as directed to BaSE and non-BaSE personnel.

Requirements

  • Must reside within the geographical location of the job; relocation assistance not available.
  • Must be able to work Monday-Friday, with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Must be able to work a 2nd shift (roughly starting 2 PM), with flexibility based on business needs.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and simple diagrams
  • Programming experience including troubleshooting
  • Basic understanding of networks
  • Motor control theory and operation
  • Basic AC and DC electrical troubleshooting

Salary/Compensations

  • $81,000.00/year to $117,060.00/year
