About the Role
Join our Bright Flex / Bank team at Bright Horizons Eddington Nursery and Preschool, offering a blend of bank/agency work convenience with employee security and benefits. You will care for babies and children up to age 5, engaging them through interactive play, reading, and activities to foster learning and development towards key milestones.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5.
- Engage children through interactive play, reading, and activities to encourage curious minds.
- Support colleagues with each child’s development towards their key milestones.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential (e.g., Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar).
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks, including an enhanced DBS check.
