About the Role
We are seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Creative Engagement team. This role involves visually representing the firm's financial, technological, and mathematical work across various departments, programs, spaces, and events. The ideal candidate will transform abstract ideas into clear, engaging designs that highlight the company's thoughtful initiatives. The role offers diverse projects, including print and digital assets, conference branding, puzzles, games, swag, packaging, logos, and brand systems. Collaboration is key, allowing for a generalist approach and contribution wherever the team needs support. No prior finance experience is necessary, only curiosity and enthusiasm for design challenges. A portfolio is required upon application.
Responsibilities
- Shape and maintain the visual identity of the firm across departments, programs, spaces, and events.
- Transform abstract ideas into clear and engaging designs.
- Create print and digital assets for recruiting materials.
- Develop visual identity for conference booths.
- Design visuals for puzzles and games.
- Develop swag and branded packaging.
- Design logos and brand systems.
- Present work to stakeholders.
- Provide clear and useful feedback on other designers' work.
- Inquire about the subject matter being designed for, such as mathematical or trading concepts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of design experience across a range of project types and scales.
- Excellent taste with strong typography, layout, and color fundamentals.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously at different stages.
- Proficiency in taking projects from brief to final files.
- Experience picking up projects midway.
- Understanding of production processes, including prepress, fabrication specification, and handoff to web development.
- Comfortable presenting work to stakeholders.
- Treat feedback and iteration as part of the design process.
- Fluent in English.
