About the Role

The Room Attendant will perform a combination of tasks to maintain the hotel and public spaces with impeccable standards of cleanliness while embracing company culture and guiding principles.

Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks that maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter.
  • Load carts with necessary supplies.
  • Clean all assigned guest rooms within the required time limit.
  • Change bed linens and make beds.
  • Vacuum carpet and move furniture as needed for cleaning.
  • Dust and clean all furniture, including picture frames, bed frames, lamps, TVs, armoires, and desks.
  • Clean mirrors, surfaces, windows, and walls.
  • Thoroughly clean bathroom areas, including shower/tub, sink, floor, and toilet.
  • Replace room amenities such as bathroom supplies, drinking glasses, and writing supplies.
  • Empty wastebaskets.
  • Ensure guest room setup complies with standards.
  • Report any discrepancies in room status or reasons for incomplete rooms to the Inspector.
  • Turn in all Lost & Found items following standard procedures.
  • Fill out assignment sheets as each room is completed.
  • Ensure all equipment is in operational order and supplies are adequate.
  • Report equipment needing repair or supplies needing to be ordered.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be flexible with workday shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Prior cleaning experience.
  • Punctual, dependable, and adaptable to change.
  • Ability to follow instructions, company policies, and safety procedures.
