About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and win new business opportunities for anaesthesia and specialist injectable products through data-led prospecting.
  • Monitor sales performance to identify declining accounts and implement re-engagement strategies to secure long-term loyalty.
  • Engage NHS stakeholders on procurement frameworks, demonstrating product value and supporting Cost Improvement Objectives (CIPs).
  • Articulate technical product differentiation and value propositions to pharmacists and clinical stakeholders via phone and video.
  • Proactively communicate supply issues, backorders, and shortages to customers to maintain trust and service continuity.
  • Maintain precise records within the CRM to support accurate forecasting, tender activity, and pricing contract management.
  • Coordinate equipment audits and align with technical teams to manage the installed base and future upgrade cycles.
  • Collaborate with internal regulatory and supply chain teams to resolve market-driven commercial challenges.
  • Independently manage the end-to-end sales process for assigned accounts, from initial outreach to contract administration.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of NHS procurement structures and pharmaceutical supply chain dynamics.
  • Proven ability in objection handling, virtual prospecting, and commercial negotiation.
  • Advanced capability in using CRM systems and virtual engagement tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills tailored for professional remote stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a territory and achieve results with minimal direct supervision.
  • Previous experience managing anaesthesia, injectables, or hospital-based products.
