About the Role
As a News Designer, you'll work with award-winning designers and journalists on fascinating topics and breaking news stories from around the world. You will be required to work a set rotation between shifts and regular working weeks, covering live breaking news output.
Responsibilities
- Develop brand and information graphics for reactive multi-platform storytelling on diverse topics.
- Embrace creative challenges including live reactive cross-platform output, social mobile explainers, and documentaries.
- Thrive in the fast-paced environment of a world-class newsroom.
- Communicate ideas clearly and confidently.
Requirements
- A passion for current affairs and visual storytelling.
- Formal training in design with an awareness of design trends.
- Good understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Good creative and conceptual skills.
- Ability to think cross-platform (TV, mobile, web, social media, print).
- Understanding of the current Sky News brand identity and values.
- Required to have the appropriate right to work in the UK.
