About the Role

The PET Facility Manager will lead PET site operations in the routine manufacturing of PET radiopharmaceuticals. This position will oversee and train PET staff in radiopharmaceutical production, provide site leadership to meet company goals, and lead a customer-focused business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and train PET staff in the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operate a PET facility that meets FDA cGMP, NRC or agreement state radiation safety, and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
• Manage and coordinate production schedules to meet customer orders.
• Assist with PET production where required, being trained and qualified in all aspects.
• Hire, train, develop, and manage the performance of PET staff.
• Oversee inventory management, facility maintenance, equipment maintenance, and calibration.
• Work in conjunction with PharmaLogic nuclear pharmacies to meet customer demands.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Familiarity with a GMP manufacturing environment and working with FDA and FDA cGMP regulations required.
• Experience managing teams in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to work varying shifts and travel up to 50%.
• Manual dexterity for manipulating small items.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 50 pounds throughout each shift and occasionally lift 75 pounds.
• Ability to handle standing, walking, and sitting for 4+ hours with limited rest intervals.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Fair eyesight (with or without correction lenses).
• Normal hearing in at least one ear (hearing range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz).
• Ability to analyze situations, set priorities, and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Effective organizational skills.
• A commitment to continuous learning.
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Superior teamwork, multi-tasking and time/project management skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, presentation and computer/pc skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Suit and related software).
• Knowledge of molecular imaging techniques and pharmaceutical study design and execution desired.
• Experience with HPLC, radiochemistry synthesis, US FDA cGMP, Radiation Safety Principles, Isotopes production and analytical equipment troubleshooting and maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Salary/Compensations

• $100,000.00 to $125,000.00
• 15% Bonus
