About the Role
ROCK YOUR LIFE gGmbH (RYL!) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young people from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds achieve the best possible entry into professional life. This role is crucial in supporting our mentoring programs and fostering a community that empowers young individuals.
Responsibilities
- Provide continuous support to mentoring pairs from initial contact to the conclusion of the mentoring relationship.
- Conduct regular check-ins with mentoring pairs via email, phone, or video calls.
- Assist mentoring pairs with challenges, conflicts, or questions.
- Ensure all participants have access to relevant resources and information.
- Document the current status of mentoring pairs in the CRM system.
- Plan, organize, and conduct online formats, such as intervisions.
- Foster an active and appreciative community.
- Implement the child and youth protection concept when interacting with young people.
- Handle sensitive situations and information responsibly.
Requirements
- Empathetic, clear, and appreciative communication skills.
- Conflict management competencies.
- Experience working with young people and volunteers is advantageous.
- High reliability, structured work approach, and sense of responsibility.
- High mental resilience.
- Confident use of digital communication tools.
- Willingness to learn new tools, such as CRM systems.
