About the Role
We are seeking a strong, operational leader to manage our Google and Meta campaigns. You will lead team members, act as a troubleshooter for performance marketing issues, and improve team skills through your expertise. You will collaborate closely with Country Leads, challenging their campaign performance and managing budgets as an expert sparring partner.
Responsibilities
- Building and advancing new (regional) channels from scratch
- Direct collaboration with the founder and management, and close exchange with respective Country Leads
- Providing expert leadership in Performance Marketing and strengthening knowledge transfer within the team
- Independently developing, launching, managing, and optimizing Google and Meta campaigns using a full-funnel approach for our D2C e-commerce business
- Identifying and resolving campaign issues in our international markets as a specialist
- Overseeing and managing seven-figure budgets across countries and intervening independently in performance issues
Requirements
- 4-5 years of professional experience in Performance Marketing, coming from a senior role and aiming for a Team Lead position
- Actively managed Google and/or Meta campaigns recently, not purely in a strategic or briefing role
- Deep understanding of campaigns, funnels, and channel mechanics
- Experience in a D2C setup with physical products
- Proficient in funnel KPIs and data-driven management (ROAS, CAC, CVR, AOV)
- AI-first working method: Claude, automations, and AI workflows are an integral part of your daily work
- Strong mindset with a clear focus – leadership stems from expertise, not title
- Passion for Performance Marketing, drive to advance it, and ability to handle pressure situations
- Very good German language skills and good English language skills
- Willingness to travel several times a month for in-person team networking in Frankfurt
