About the Role
The Digital Society Programme at Chatham House investigates the geopolitics and political economy of emerging technology. It platforms the minimum viable digital infrastructure states and companies need to have agency in the 21st century. It develops new, pragmatic governance ideas to scale and manage it, engaging in multilateral forums and technology communities alike, and acting as a bridge between them.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of high-impact research projects.
- Conduct policy-relevant research and drive innovation in research delivery using emerging technologies.
- Present technical research findings clearly and creatively to a range of audiences.
- Plan and coordinate events like panels and scenario exercises.
- Contribute to fundraising and new project opportunities.
Requirements
- Technical skills, with outstanding fluency in use of emerging technologies as applied to policy research.
- Expertise in the technical and societal implications of emerging technologies.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting research proposals, events or stakeholder engagement.
