About the Role

As the Nursery Housekeeper, you will be an ambassador for our values and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. You'll ensure children are fuelled with wholesome food and act as an advocate for nutritious meals, communicating menus to children and parents. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the nursery is clean, laundry is done, bins are emptied, and deliveries are put away.
  • Understand and comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
  • Take ownership for making the nursery look beautiful and ready for inspection.
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, tidy away clutter, and keep floors clear.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
  • Promote excellent hygiene practices and maintain outstanding levels of cleanliness.
  • Be aware of and comply with EHO and COSHH regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing, and protection for all children through safe working practices.
  • Help the team with other duties as needed to foster a supportive and inclusive culture.
  • Work within Kïdo Schools Safeguarding policy and escalate any concerns appropriately.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure all stock is ordered and organised.
