About the Role
NICO Europe GmbH is a leading provider of pyrotechnics in Germany with over 100 years of market experience. We are seeking support for our existing team in our Berlin warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Goods receipt, incoming goods inspection, unloading of overseas containers
- Goods issue, order picking, shipping preparation & handover of goods to freight forwarders
- Internal goods movement using pallet trucks & forklifts
- Warehousing & goods care
- Cleanliness of storage areas and company premises, minor repair work
- Support for warehouse management and representation
- Assistance with training and scheduling, and contact person for seasonal staff
Requirements
- Forklift license (prerequisite)
- Physical resilience and reliability
- Completed training in the logistics sector
- Initial experience in order picking is an advantage, but not strictly required
- Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
- Focused and concentrated work, even with high workloads
- Independent way of working
- Friendly interaction with customers
