About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Create a nurturing environment to support a safe, engaging space where children can learn and thrive.
  • Act as a consistent key person, offering comfort, stability, and strong relationships for key children.
  • Record observations and plan next steps to support each child’s development.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning styles and interests.
  • Set up inspiring spaces that spark curiosity, awe, and exploration.
  • Work with families and professionals to provide tailored support for children with additional needs.
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly to the DSL.
  • Contribute to daily health and safety routines and risk assessments.

Requirements

  • Hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 2 or Level 3 minimum.
  • Level 2 qualifications in English including functional skills are required if a Level 3 qualification was obtained after 2014.
  • Sponsorship applications are not supported at this time.

Salary/Compensations

  • £27,500 - £30,000 / year
