About the Role
Audax is seeking a dynamic and motivated Data Engineer CO-OP to support the Senior Data Engineer with hands-on experience in data engineering, data governance, and data management. This role involves collaborating with the data team to design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ensure data quality, and contribute to the expansion of the company's data warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and scaling the Audax data ecosystem.
- Working with professionals to scale data infrastructure within the company’s cloud enterprise data warehouse.
- Playing an integral role in designing ETL processes and analytic pipelines for investment professionals.
- Assisting with the implementation of data governance policies, including data cataloging and data lineage.
- Providing data validation and data quality assessments.
- Identifying and resolving data anomalies.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Previous Co-Op or full-time experience in a related field is a plus.
- Experience taking large data sets, and cleaning/distilling these datasets.
- Experience with Python a plus.
- Experience with Alteryx and its advanced capabilities a plus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to interact in an efficient and meaningful way with all levels of the organization required.
