About the Role
The IT Operations CO-OP will serve as the initial point of contact for daily IT operational tasks, assisting in identifying root causes, resolving, and monitoring technology support requests efficiently and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Respond to service requests promptly, manage customer expectations regarding resolution times, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Deliver a high-quality customer service experience by adhering to established service standards.
- Assist with the deployment, maintenance, support, upgrade, and tracking of IT assets, including desktops, laptops, phones, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform tasks related to adding, moving, changing, and relocating IT assets during office moves.
- Act as the first point of contact for customer support regarding desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, printers, networking, remote access, and telephony.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program.
- Possess business-quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to prioritize and execute concurrent tasks with minimal supervision.
Skills
- Basic to Intermediate Windows OS, macOS, and Apple iOS.
- Basic to Intermediate MS Outlook and MS Office 365.
- Basic to Intermediate hardware and software installation/deployment.
