About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Send Core team, which provides the critical infrastructure for all sending transactions. The role involves maintaining core infrastructure and building customer-facing products to enhance the sending journey, aiming to make money transfers as easy and fast as paying for groceries.

Responsibilities

• Shape our Products: Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to deliver the best experience for our customers.
• Control Critical Infrastructure: Own the systems that every sending transaction depends on across the entire platform.
• Drive Technical Excellence: Make architectural decisions for the core send components, ensuring they are reliable and performant.

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of the modern tech stack and design concepts.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and simply.
• Focus on solving real customer problems with every change made.
• Clear understanding of why we are building what we are building.
• Ability to think in product terms, not just on the code level.
• Passion to always learn and grow.
• Proactively get things done, instead of waiting to be told what to do.
• Curiosity to explore ways to improve our products and day-to-day work.
