About the Role
Take ownership of the MarTech ecosystem, shaping its future in a regulated environment. You will define the MarTech strategy, architecture, roadmap, and vendor landscape, collaborating with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data teams. This is a hands-on role involving technology and vendor decisions, requirement shaping, and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own the MarTech strategy and architecture, including audit, rationalization roadmap, and future-state technology stack.
- Manage the CMS, HubSpot, tracking, and analytics ecosystem, ensuring strong governance, integrations, data quality, and scalable processes.
- Lead vendor selection, negotiations, and renewals, making decisions on buying, building, or retiring technology.
- Build foundations for tracking, measurement, and analytics, including server-side GTM, GA4, Consent Mode, and Amplitude activation.
- Identify and deliver practical AI use cases across content, localization, reporting, and campaign operations.
- Establish clear delivery and documentation standards, translating marketing requirements into well-defined technical projects with clear ownership and milestones.
- Act as the key technology partner for Marketing, coordinating with Product, Engineering, and Data teams, and owning the FY27 MarTech roadmap, including the 2027 rebrand workstream.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in MarTech, Marketing Operations, Growth Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience owning a technology stack.
- Hands-on experience with headless CMS platforms.
- Strong experience with at least one of: HubSpot or an equivalent enterprise CRM, server-side tagging and GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar product analytics platforms.
- Proven experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and technology rationalization.
- Ability to assess when to buy, build, or retire a solution.
- Strong project delivery and documentation skills.
- Experience defining scope, milestones, ownership, and technical requirements.
- Practical experience with AI tools in Marketing and the ability to identify valuable, measurable use cases.
- Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., trading, fintech, gambling, insurance) is a strong advantage.
- Understanding of consent, data governance, and compliance requirements in digital marketing.
- Comfortable working across Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Data.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects remotely.
