About the Role

As a Mechatronics Technician apprentice at BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, you will learn to handle various technical systems, maintain and repair machinery, and optimize power plant processes. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience and encourages independent planning and execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair mechatronic systems.
  • Install electrical circuits and components.
  • Assemble and disassemble machines, systems, and plants.
  • Identify and resolve faults and malfunctions in mechatronic systems.
  • Work with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Install, test, and utilize PC hardware and software.
  • Provide customer support and engage in quality management.

Requirements

  • Good school leaving certificate.
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Manual dexterity and an understanding of electronics and logic.
  • Communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good color perception.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
