About the Role

Design and implement Java applications from requirement to go-live, taking technical ownership within the project team. Utilize AI coding agents for implementation, refactoring, and testing, making context-specific decisions about their use. Build new applications and modernize existing systems, from individual components to larger replacements. Ensure quality by reviewing AI-generated changes, adding tests, and maintaining system maintainability. Act as a role model within the project team by sharing your working methods through pairing, reviews, and daily collaboration.

Requirements

Several years of experience in developing web-based applications
Experience with the Spring stack
Proficiency in Clean Code, Testing, and CI/CD
Familiarity with Domain-driven Design, APIs, and modern deployment environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud)
Experience working regularly with AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
Critical evaluation of AI-generated results
Ability to select appropriate automation levels for tasks
