About the Role
As an IT Office Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving technical IT issues and user inquiries while adhering to service and quality standards. You will also introduce, manage, and continuously develop IT services and workplace solutions, considering security and compliance requirements. This role involves contributing to projects aimed at optimizing client services and implementing new technologies, as well as creating and maintaining operational processes to ensure a stable IT environment. Continuous analysis and improvement of service quality, user satisfaction, and IT processes using best practices and modern tools are key aspects of this position.
Responsibilities
- Processing and resolving technical IT disruptions and user inquiries in compliance with defined service and quality standards.
- Introduction, support, and continuous development of IT services and workplace solutions, considering security and compliance requirements.
- Participation in projects for the optimization and transformation of client services and the introduction of new technologies.
- Creation, maintenance, and implementation of operational and maintenance processes (SOPs) to ensure stable and efficient IT operations.
- Continuous analysis and improvement of service quality, user satisfaction, and operational IT processes through the use of best practices and modern tools.
Requirements
- Experience in analyzing and resolving technical disruptions and handling service requests in the area of IT workplaces and IT services.
- Basic understanding of IT operational and maintenance processes for end devices, applications, and IT services.
- Knowledge of modern cloud technologies and service models (e.g., IaaS/PaaS); experience with cloud platforms is advantageous.
- Strong service and customer orientation, combined with a high quality standard and awareness of IT security and regulatory requirements.
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
