About the Role

As a Service Sales Specialist, you will drive revenue growth by selling Maintenance Service Agreements for GE HealthCare equipment within Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). You will develop strategic service relationships with healthcare providers, focusing on enhancing equipment uptime, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires collaboration with internal teams to identify opportunities, craft value propositions, and close service contracts, demanding a proactive, customer-centric approach and a strong understanding of healthcare technology and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue service sales opportunities, including renewals, warranty conversions, and win-back efforts.
  • Execute promotional initiatives to drive customer engagement and service uptake.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships within the assigned region.
  • Promote GE HealthCare service solutions to address customer needs and maximize contract capture.
  • Educate customers on how to leverage their service entitlements.
  • Collaborate with equipment sales teams to support tender responses and provide service quotations.
  • Prepare for customer visits and performance reviews, including reporting and presenting service data.
  • Secure signed agreements and purchase orders for timely contract activation.
  • Identify and communicate market and competitor feedback to inform pricing and contract strategies.
  • Generate and communicate leads to relevant GE HealthCare colleagues.
  • Prepare Maintenance Service Agreements (MSAs), including validation, proposals, and system setup.
  • Oversee contractual negotiation, risk mitigation, and coordination with legal and service teams.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to implement MSAs and ensure accurate billing and entitlements.
  • Communicate and implement MSA requirements across internal teams.
  • Manage administrative activities for equipment deinstallation, ensuring accurate system updates.
  • Own internal and customer queries, including invoice disputes, payment issues, and service entitlement questions.
  • Respond to inbound calls and emails regarding service agreements.
  • Deliver clear, professional communication to customers regarding service coverage.
  • Triage incoming customer inquiries and direct them to the appropriate team.
  • Respond to customer requests for supplier performance and contract reporting.
  • Operate in alignment with defined commercial processes to ensure continuous service coverage.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with regulatory, legal, and GE HealthCare policy requirements.
  • Drive data cleanliness and update systems for accurate install base and customer records.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, contact details, and interactions in CRM systems.
  • Manage the sales funnel by tracking leads and opportunities, maintaining stage and forecast accuracy.
  • Work closely with the administrative support team to ensure efficient pre-administrative tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment by communicating clearly and sharing information proactively.
  • Support colleagues during periods of leave or high workload to ensure continuity.
  • Comply with the GE HealthCare Quality Manual, QMS, policy, goals, and applicable regulations.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within deadlines.
  • Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and take corrective action.
  • Own order and configuration quality at the point of entry for accuracy and integrity.
  • Drive continuous improvement on related processes, work instructions, and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven sales experience in a Customer Sales Representative or Telesales role.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply a sales methodology to develop a creative, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Strong problem-solving and investigative skills.
  • Experienced in cold calling, outbound communication, and delivering confident customer presentations.
  • Proficient with CRM platforms, reporting tools, and administrative skills.
  • Proficient with intermediate Excel, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to interpret and utilize data and reports from various systems.
  • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
