About the Role
The Workplace Platform department provides the digital workplace for all BVG employees, enabling access to applications, processes, and information for location- and device-independent collaboration and efficient work across the company.
Responsibilities
- Administer, configure, and operate Windows and Android client devices.
- Contribute expertise to procurement and tender processes.
- Plan, develop, and implement client solutions.
- Continuously optimize the system landscape.
- Ensure the deployment and management of current operating systems.
- Manage the distribution of software and driver packages using Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune.
- Create, maintain, and document group policies, configuration profiles, and operating concepts.
- Process 2nd and 3rd level support requests within IT service management.
- Support on-call duty for reliable 24/7 operation after onboarding.
Requirements
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or Communications Technology, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on long-term professional experience.
- Very good knowledge of system administration for clients with Windows and Android operating systems.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Intune.
- Very good German language skills (minimum C1 level).
- Confident professional English skills in speaking and writing.
