About the Role
Euronext is seeking a dynamic candidate to join our Index department as an International Graduate (V.I.E). This role supports sales efforts through market research, provides client consultancy, designs indices, automates processes, and handles operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Support sales efforts through market research to identify growth opportunities across all trading products.
- Provide client consultancy by responding to inquiries on index rules, compositions, methodologies, and data providers.
- Design indices, including data analysis, modeling, backtesting, rule creation, and supporting the development of marketing materials and operational handovers.
- Automate processes to ensure consistency in internal databases and perform data quality checks.
- Handle operational tasks such as requesting ISIN codes, making announcements to data vendors, and liaising with data providers.
Requirements
- Masters degree, ideally in Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science with a solid foundation in finance and strong business knowledge.
- First experience with in indexation, portfolio construction, financial products development or trading is a plus.
- First experience with IT systems and operational processes is a plus.
- First experience in sales and relationship management is a plus.
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
- Proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of initiative and ownership.
- Customer-oriented with a commercial mindset.
- Strong team spirit with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Eligibility criteria of this VIE programme, set by Business France.
Skills
- Advanced skills in Python and Excel are required.
- Knowledge of database organizations, data flows and SQL queries.
- Working knowledge of market data sources (Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset).
