About the Role
The Fraud Prevention Department, established in April 2026 under the CEO, is dedicated to ensuring the sound and sustainable growth of Rakuten Mobile. This role involves collaborating with senior management to build robust governance frameworks that balance business profitability and user convenience, ensuring a secure user experience. As a new organization, there is an opportunity to shape systems and culture from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute fraud prevention strategies, including designing and implementing measures to predict and mitigate fraud risks.
- Evaluate potential fraud risks for new services and features, integrating risk-management designs into the development lifecycle.
- Manage regulatory compliance, including status reporting and stakeholder coordination.
- Report on fraud prevention strategies, challenges, and improvements to the executive team.
Requirements
- Proven track record in project or business management (3+ years).
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or driving projects.
- Experience in roles such as Project Manager (PM), PMO, Business Planning, or Corporate Planning.
- Experience creating documentation for problem-solving and presenting reports or explanations clearly to management or relevant stakeholders.
- Experience in operational workflow management/improvement, internal policy management, or tasks related to compliance and risk management.
