About the Role

No two days are the same for a Check Point Security Engineer (Presales). You will be hands-on with advanced technologies, understand customer security challenges, and design solutions, playing a crucial part in fascinating projects.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sales Team to recommend appropriate Check Point solutions for customer cyber security needs.
  • Provide insight and advice to customers based on Check Point's best practices, applying skills and knowledge to drive optimal outcomes.
  • Lead technical engagements, address technical questions, provide consultative advice, and manage Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops.
  • Demonstrate the full portfolio of solutions that protect organizations from threats and secure operations and information.
  • Drive meetings with customers to identify problems and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Support RFI and RFP responses with relevant bid teams.
  • Engage and support the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
  • Actively participate in cyber security events.
  • Keep activity reports updated and ensure timely communication with the Manager.

Requirements

  • Have a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience.
  • Must demonstrate solid understanding of Network Security principles and experience with Check Point Security Gateways or equivalent vendor solution.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs.
  • Exposure to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous.
  • Bring a customer-first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations.
  • Have the ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • A strong sense of teamwork is required.
  • Fluent in English - written and verbal.
