About the Role
We are seeking an Account Executive to manage relationships with P&C insurance companies, driving digital transformation through AI and data utilization. This role involves partnering with clients to understand their business challenges and offering SAS's software, consulting, and cloud solutions to create value in the InsureTech space. You will collaborate with domestic and global teams, engaging with diverse stakeholders from CxOs to technical experts, and gain hands-on experience in the core of InsureTech.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a solutions sales representative for P&C insurance companies, collaborating with internal departments to lead problem-solving proposals.
- Drive business and IT departments to address industry-specific challenges such as regulatory compliance (IFRS17, ICS), fraud detection, financial closing, underwriting, and product development, by identifying needs and pursuing opportunities.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, inside sales, account managers, and management to respond quickly to high-revenue potential leads and strategic accounts.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and contracts, and coordinate with various departments to finalize agreements and delivery schedules.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and identify additional revenue opportunities to build long-term relationships.
- Manage pipeline, forecasts, and identify high-potential accounts using internal account planning tools and sales methodologies (e.g., BASE, Strategic Selling).
- Leverage knowledge of marketing goals, industry trends, and SAS products to assess customer needs and propose optimal solutions.
- Develop and execute action plans for high-growth accounts to expand relationships within the territory.
- Adhere to all security policies and processes to support the organization's secure software development goals.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of direct sales experience in software, IT solutions, or SaaS.
- Experienced professional with a deep understanding of specialized fields.
- Ability to analyze and judge diverse issues and solve them creatively.
- Understanding of basic sales techniques, purchasing processes, and decision-makers.
- Territory analysis and sales planning capabilities.
- Communication skills in both technical and business domains.
