About the Role

Brookfield Infrastructure Group is seeking a finance professional to provide oversight of financial reporting, analyze forecasts, and support strategic decision-making for a portfolio of global infrastructure assets.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and evaluate financial and liquidity forecasts to track operating asset results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting submissions from operating assets, ensuring compliance with group policies, performing variance analysis, and reviewing capital expenditure forecasts.
  • Prepare quarterly operating and results presentations for senior management to support key decision-making.
  • Develop a deep understanding of operating businesses to clearly explain performance metrics and strategic objectives.
  • Support the financial reporting function, including credit agreement compliance, for certain operating assets and coordinate with service providers for timely reporting.
  • Prepare technical accounting memos and analysis.
  • Communicate frequently with operating asset finance teams and public/private fund finance teams to support supplemental reporting.
  • Support the annual business planning process, including reviewing and updating operating company models/long-term assumptions and preparing management presentations.
  • Utilize financial modeling and scenario analysis to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Support the onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into finance and accounting processes, developing frameworks to optimize decision-making and value.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline processes within a growing operating platform.
  • Perform strategic ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Qualified CPA or CA, preferably with Big 4 experience and a proven track record of high performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative team-player attitude.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing workload and professional development.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with senior executives.
  • Highly analytical with strong attention to detail; AI-enabled analytic skills are a plus.
  • Exceptional quality standards and a drive for new approaches, insights, and presentation methods.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly and managing changing priorities.
  • Proficient in Excel, including developing and reviewing financial models.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, with the ability to translate financial results into key messages.
