About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to influence policies, initiatives, and projects that can improve the lives of millions of people by providing paralegal services to support the Government, Regulatory & Prosecutions legal team.
Responsibilities
- Provide paralegal services to support the Government, Regulatory & Prosecutions legal team.
- Assist Lawyers with legal research.
- Prepare court documents, including statements of facts.
- Compile briefs of evidence for court.
- Assist Lawyers with triaging and preparing responses to privacy related queries.
- Assist Lawyers with privacy reporting.
- Assist Lawyers with other ad hoc legal tasks.
Requirements
- Motivated Law student looking to gain experience or start a career in law.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Knack for technology.
- Experience using multiple systems to complete tasks, including online legal research.
