About the Role
As a Bid Writer / Coordinator in the ASPAC Sales team, you will develop compelling bid and tender responses for government and private-sector customers. You will collaborate with sales teams and subject matter experts to understand requirements, shape responses, and coordinate submissions. This role is crucial in helping Serco create impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with Sales and subject matter experts to develop pre-qualification, EOI and tender responses.
- Analyze client requirements and translate complex information into clear, customer-focused content.
- Coordinate bid activities, contributors, actions and deadlines to keep submissions on track.
- Write persuasive executive summaries, cover letters and bid responses aligned to customer needs.
- Edit and proofread tender content to ensure accuracy, consistency and a strong Serco voice.
- Manage document production, templates and bid library content while supporting continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a Bid Writer, Proposal Writer, Tender Coordinator or Bid Manager role.
- Experience preparing responses to RFTs, RFQs, EOIs, RFPs or tenders.
- Experience with government procurement, bid management platforms and APMP best practice is beneficial.

- Exceptional written communication, editing and proofreading skills.
- Experience writing and coordinating bids, proposals, tenders or similar business documents.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work with subject matter experts.
- Excellent organisation and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality, accuracy and compliance.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint).
