About the Role
As a Bid and Proposal Writer, you will develop compelling, persuasive, and high-quality bids and tender responses. You will translate complex information into clear, customer-focused content, playing an important role in helping Serco deliver winning proposals that support its purpose to impact a better future.
Responsibilities
- Working with Sales and subject matter experts to prepare bids, tenders, EOIs and pre-qualification responses
- Analysing client requirements and translating complex information into clear, persuasive content
- Developing win themes, executive summaries, cover letters and compelling bid responses
- Coordinating bid inputs, deadlines and document production to ensure high-quality submissions
- Editing and proofreading content to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with Serco’s voice
- Managing bid documentation and supporting continuous improvements to proposal processes and resources
Requirements
- Exceptional written communication, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong experience in bid writing, proposal writing, tender coordination or bid management
- Experience preparing responses to RFTs, RFQs, EOIs, RFPs and tenders
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to draw information from subject matter experts
- Excellent organisation and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and collaboration tools
- A satisfactory National Police Check is required

Education Level
- A degree in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing, Business or a related discipline will be highly regarded
- Experience with government procurement, tender frameworks, APMP practices, bid libraries or commercial proposal development will also support your success
