About the Role

The Fraud Prevention Department, established in April 2026 and reporting directly to the CEO, is dedicated to ensuring the sound and sustainable growth of Rakuten Mobile. This role is within the Fraud Prevention Management Division, focusing on building robust governance frameworks that balance business profitability and user convenience for a secure user experience. As a new organization, there is an opportunity to shape systems and culture from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement measures to predict and mitigate fraud risks.
  • Lead the execution of fraud prevention initiatives through collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Serve as a bridge between operational insights and executive decision-making.
  • Proactively evaluate fraud risks for new product releases.
  • Collaborate with product and development teams to integrate robust risk management designs.
  • Manage overall regulatory compliance, including status reporting and stakeholder coordination.
  • Report on fraud prevention status, challenges, and improvement proposals to the executive team.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in planning or project management involving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience in corporate planning or business planning.
  • Proven experience leading a project from inception to completion.
  • Business-level English proficiency.
  • Japanese (Speaking - 4 - Fluent)
