About the Role

The Senior Strategic Intelligence Analyst researches, collects, and analyzes information from various sources to provide high-level strategic briefings for senior NSW Police Force members. This role involves handling complex and sensitive information and delivering it to stakeholders within agreed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect and analyse information from a variety of internal and external sources.
  • Provide high level written strategic briefings to inform decisions of senior members of the NSWPF.
  • Deal with complex and sensitive information.
  • Issue information to both internal and external stakeholders to meet agreed outcomes and timeframes.
  • Lead the development of intelligence briefings for senior NSW Police Force audiences.
  • Ensure intelligence is timely and relevant to the intended audience.
  • Undertake critical analysis for strategic products.
  • Ensure analysis for strategic products is robust and accurate.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) National Security Clearance within 12 months from commencement.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
  • Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check prior to commencement.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force prior to commencement.
  • Attach a cover letter (2 pages maximum).
  • Attach an up-to-date resume that clearly details your skills & experience as relevant to this role.
