AJL Plumbing & Heating is seeking a skilled plumber experienced in commercial and residential service and installation. The ideal candidate is reliable, knowledgeable, works independently, and will receive competitive pay, steady year-round work, and a company vehicle to take home.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and water supply systems.
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing on new construction and renovation projects.
- Install and service water heaters, boilers, and heating systems.
- Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to complete jobs on time.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the field.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
- Experience with pipe fitting, soldering, drain cleaning, and fixture installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must reside in Nassau or Suffolk County.
- OSHA 30 card.
