About the Role
Ascenda Logistics Inc. is seeking motivated and driven candidates to join their Westhampton Beach team as a Delivery Associate - Driver. This role offers the opportunity to work independently, make a positive impact on the community, and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Start and end the day at the Amazon Warehouse: DYR3 out of Westhampton, Long Island.
- Safely operate a company delivery vehicle in accordance with all laws and policies.
- Load and unload packages with care and efficiency, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Maintain the cleanliness and performance of the delivery van, including refueling.
- Drive comfortably and safely in various weather conditions.
- Provide professional and positive customer service.
- Utilize smartphone devices for navigation, scanning, routing, and administrative tasks.
- Adapt to the demands of a dynamic and physically challenging role.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
- Must be able to communicate well.
- Must be able to move packages up to 50 lbs.
- Must be customer oriented with a ‘Safety-Always’ mindset.
- Must be available and willing to work at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) as part of the weekly schedule.
