Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics Advanced and Extension through Contour’s intuitive in-class materials in small-group classes and workshops.
- Lead engaging classes with discussion, exploration, diagrams, and videos.
- Act as a teacher, mentor, coach, and friend to students.
- Provide individual help to students, catching misconceptions early.
- Prepare students for internal assessments, Trials, and HSC exams.
Requirements
- Achieved 98+ ATAR with a Band 6 in HSC Mathematics Advanced and/or an E4 in Mathematics Extension 1 or 2.
- Possess a love of teaching and patience to explain concepts thoroughly.
- Demonstrate energy to run a room: warm, confident, and engaging.
- Show care for students as individuals and a desire to be a trusted mentor.
- Exhibit reliability and professionalism.
- Align with Contour’s student-first mission and a passion for reshaping education.
