About the Role

The AI Venturing team identifies, designs, and builds AI-powered products to solve meaningful problems for x15, CommBank, and their ventures. This role involves working at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI, exploring emerging technologies for competitive advantage. The Senior Product Manager will lead the discovery, strategy, and delivery of AI products from concept to pilot, shaping solutions that create lasting value and solve real customer and business problems.

Responsibilities

Partner with venture teams and internal stakeholders to identify high-value opportunities where AI can solve meaningful customer and business problems.
Lead discovery activities including customer research, opportunity sizing, problem validation, and experimentation.
Develop product visions, strategies, and roadmaps across a portfolio of AI initiatives.
Translate complex business challenges into clear product opportunities and prioritised outcomes.
Define product success measures, hypotheses, and learning objectives to guide experimentation and investment decisions.
Lead cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch AI-powered products from concept through to production.
Own and prioritise product backlogs aligned to customer, venture, and business outcomes.
Work closely with software engineers and designers to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate solutions.
Balance customer value, technical feasibility, commercial impact, and speed to maximise outcomes.
Ensure pilots generate meaningful insights that inform future product direction and scaling opportunities.
Own the roadmap for internal AI products that transform how x15 teams work.
Identify opportunities to build AI products that automate workflows, augment decision-making, and unlock productivity across x15.
Partner with engineering and business teams to design, build, and launch AI products that solve meaningful business problems.
Drive adoption by ensuring products deliver intuitive, high-value experiences that become part of everyday ways of working.
Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to create reusable AI products that can scale across x15 and our venture portfolio.
Build trusted partnerships across venture leadership, engineering teams, and executive stakeholders.
Communicate product direction, priorities, and outcomes with clarity and confidence.
Influence decision-making through customer insight, commercial thinking, and evidence-based recommendations.
Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
Champion product thinking and AI innovation across x15ventures.

Requirements

Significant experience leading digital product strategy and delivery from discovery through to launch.
Proven experience building products within fast-paced technology, startup, venture, or innovation environments.
Strong understanding of Agile product development and experience working closely with software engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and align diverse groups around a shared product vision.
Commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience leading product discovery, experimentation, and customer validation.
Experience building AI-powered products, GenAI applications, or intelligent workflow solutions.
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or emerging AI technologies.
Experience delivering internal digital products that improve productivity or operational efficiency.
Technical fluency that enables effective collaboration with engineering teams.
Passion for emerging technologies and applying AI to solve real-world customer and business problems.
