About the Role

Help deliver major sporting events and provide great customer experiences while enjoying flexible casual work. As a Customer and Events Assistant, you will support daily venue operations, assist visitors and event organisers, and help ensure activities run safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Providing customer service and responding to enquiries
  • Supporting event set-up and pack-down
  • Assisting with traffic and crowd management
  • Completing administrative tasks and maintaining records
  • Maintaining equipment, facilities and supplies
  • Following safety, compliance and operational procedures

Requirements

  • Obtain and maintain a Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
  • Requirement to work across any day of the week (Monday to Sunday), to meet operational needs.
  • The ability to be placed on ammunitions register within three months of commencing.
  • Hearing test (audiometric test) within 3 months of starting employment (baseline test) and a follow-up hearing test at least every 2 years.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or hold a valid Australian working Visa for the duration of the appointment.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check.
  • Arrange a Working with Children Check, at your own expense.
