About the Role

Floor Staff team members are responsible for ensuring guests receive exceptional service. This role may involve working in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher, acting as a representative of Regal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive exceptional service.
• Act as a representative of Regal consistent with the mission statement and policies.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Handle emergency situations when called upon.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Comply with company dress code.
• Operate POS system, including handling cash and credit cards accurately.
• Upsell and suggestively sell Premium Viewing Experiences.
• Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
• Sell tickets in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
• Respond to guest phone calls and questions.
• Operate, prepare, and clean concession related equipment.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
• Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
• Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current where applicable.
• Tear tickets, collect stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
• Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
• Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
• Enforce the MPAA rating system.
• Conduct in-theatre inspections to monitor quality and safety.
• Report problems, discrepancies, or unusual situations to management.
• Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales.
• Clean auditoriums and maintain clean restrooms, lobby, hallways, and other areas.
• Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theatre vending equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
• Complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate if selling/serving alcohol.
• Complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University if selling/serving alcohol.
• Possess good public speaking skills.
• Listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
• Perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Identify and correct errors in calculations.
• Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes.
