About the Role

National Aviation Services is seeking a dependable, punctual, and professional Janitorial Cleaner Supervisor to clean aircraft buildings and manage teams at ISP Airport. This is an overnight position requiring open overnight availability.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Issue supplies and equipment.
• Resolve employee problems or refer matters to the manager.
• Record employee hours worked on shift reports.
• Complete all necessary BM checklists and/or documentation daily.
• Submit requests for repair of cleaning equipment as requested by the Station Manager.
• Requisition or purchase cleaning supplies and equipment as requested by the Station Manager.
• Perform all duties of Building Maintenance Cleaners supervised.
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including training, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and resolving complaints.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Must clock in/out at the beginning and end of the scheduled shift.
• Proper uniform attire is required.
• Safety measures must always be taken, including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Adhere to rules and regulations outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Demonstrate respectful and helpful behavior to fellow employees, airline personnel, passengers, and other company employees.
• Must be capable of reading and understanding flight schedule(s).
• Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable.
• Must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable.
• A valid driver’s license is required by airport authority to operate a vehicle or equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
