About the Role
Support the implementation of an integrated risk management framework across a major capital programme for a London-based airport. This role suits risk professionals with proven experience in major international airport environments.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate identification, assessment, and prioritization of threats, opportunities, and issues within the sub-programme.
- Maintain visibility of threat/opportunity trigger points to facilitate risk cost profiling and timely drawdown of risk budget or retirement of threat/opportunity.
- Use risk data to inform investment planning.
- Assist with the identification and recording of appropriate, measurable, and specific management responses, assessing post-mitigated positions.
- Monitor overall risk exposure against the remaining Risk budget.
- Proactively manage the completion of management responses to help deliver target positions.
- Work with contractors to assess contractor-held risks and their views on client-held risks impacting them.
- Produce risk reports in a timely manner to support effective communication of threat & opportunity status.
- Conduct quantitative risk assessment (cost and schedule) to inform project contingency levels.
- Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.
Requirements
- Experienced levels of competence with tools such as PRA, @risk, Safran, or similar.
- Familiarity with web-based database tools like ARM, Predict, and Tableau.
- Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major projects/programmes.
- Proven experience in a risk delivery role on major infrastructure projects/programmes.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Genuine commitment to finding new and more effective ways of working.

- Qualitative and quantitative assessment of risk
- Working understanding of an integrated risk management process (risk, cost, and schedule) on a large programme
- Risk workshop facilitation
- Threat mitigation and opportunity exploitation
- Probabilistic modelling (@risk, PRA and P6 proficiency – or equivalent)
